Manuscript Submission Query: Evolution: The Origin of Life a science fiction novel

My intriguing new science fiction novel, Evolution: The Origin of Life consists of roughly 80,000 words and entails a storyline that can readily lead to a subsequent book in a prospective series.

Join Adam in a journey of mankind in discovering some of the most Earth shattering secrets our planet has yet to unveil. His epic adventure will answer some of the most sought after questions throughout history and uncover the origins of life itself.

Evolution puts a dramatic twist on the theory of colonization from an alien race. Imagine an advanced civilization with scientists looking to discover and document their own evolution. The Earth was ripe for seeding. The dinosaurs, a mistake. Humans, the correct mutations, now in an advanced stage; so advanced that a genetic scientist named Evelyn and an Archeologist named Adam are beginning to figure it out. For the alien race this would mark the completion of the experiment. Evelyn and Adam along with the leaders of the world must stop that from happening.

This controversial theory parallels the Bible and tells the stories of creation through the bibles words; but who is the creator, does this make the alien scientist our God? And who created this alien race; the Universe itself?

Thank you for taking the time to review my query. My manuscript is available upon request for consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.
Synopsis

Researcher Adam Clark's archeologist father discovers a strange artifact in Olduvai Gorge, Tanzania, Africa, commonly known as "The Cradle of Mankind." The 'pod' is made from materials unknown to man, and the ground around it dates back fifty million years. A similar pod was discovered in 1947, in a piece of ground dating back 3.5 billion years. Eventually, they translate the embossing on the outside of the pods as a map showing the evolution of all life, starting from a single-cell organism and ending with the creation of mankind.

Before Adam has a chance to investigate the strange writings, the U.S. Air Force steps in and confiscates the pod. Adam is driven to obsession, reading every book on ancient civilization and UFO phenomenon he can find until he watches a news broadcast about the latest discovery made by Dr. Evelyn Wilson. Her scientific discovery of XNA, a new structure of DNA resembles the writing on the pod his father discovered. Evelyn and Adam meet and team up to decode the XNA, but once again, the military steps in and confiscates their work from Evelyn's lab.

Left with no other choice, Evelyn and Adam accept the military's invitation to continue their work on the XNA at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. The clock, however, is ticking. And when Adam triggers one of the pods, it calls the aliens back to Earth.

Unhappy about the premature discovery of the knowledge embossed on the pods, the aliens, who have been conducting the origins of life experiment on Earth, decide it is time to end their experiment and sterilize the planet. They send an asteroid speeding through space that is larger than the one they used to destroy the dinosaurs. If it hits, the Earth's crust will boil and be peeled back like the skin of an orange. The race is on, and the military needs answers about what they're up against. But it's a losing battle as the aliens begin collecting male and female samples of every living creature on earth, including Evelyn and Adam.
